With the Stripe integration, Sharebrand lets you lock files behind a paywall, sell digital products (ebooks, templates, videos, audio, zips), and unlock downloads automatically after payment—all under your custom domain. Money goes straight to your Stripe account; Sharebrand takes 0% platform fees.

Custom domain enabled: required to accept payments
Stripe account: any existing Stripe account you own (region must be supported by Stripe)
Note: Stripe is not available on workspaces without a custom domain.
What you can do with Stripe + Sharebrand
Paid downloads: Set a price for any transfer; recipients pay first, then download.
Digital product sales: Sell one-off products or collections (PDFs, templates, audio/video, fonts, etc.).
Instant unlock: Files unlock automatically once Stripe confirms payment.
Multi-currency: Charge in the currencies Stripe supports for your account.
Coupons & promos: Use Stripe coupons/discounts for launches or seasonal sales.
Receipts & invoices: Stripe handles receipts; your brand/domain handle the delivery.
Client work delivery: “Pay-to-unlock” for final deliverables (great for agencies and freelancers).
Refunds: Process refunds in Stripe; access is revoked on the Sharebrand side.
How it works (simple)
Enable Stripe: In Sharebrand, open Settings → Payments, select Stripe, and paste your secret keys (or use Connect if enabled).
Price your files: On a transfer or product, toggle Require payment, set price and currency, and publish under your custom domain.
Share the link: Customers see your branded paywall page, pay via Stripe, and immediately get access to download.
Manage orders: Track payments and customers in your Stripe Dashboard; files and access live in your Sharebrand workspace.
Fees, countries, and compliance
Platform fee: Sharebrand takes 0%.
Processing fee: Stripe’s standard card fees apply (varies by country).
Availability: You can only charge in Stripe-supported countries and currencies linked to your account.
Security: Payments are handled by Stripe; Sharebrand never stores card details.
Taxes: Configure tax settings in your Stripe Dashboard (if needed for your market).
Best practices
Use a dedicated product folder for paid downloads to keep content tidy.
Pair with link expiration to limit access windows.
Share the payment link and download link separately only if needed—otherwise let the built-in paywall handle both.
For teams: assign roles so only trusted members can mark items as paid.
Limitations (current)
Custom domain is mandatory to accept payments.
Stripe only (PayPal/Razorpay/Paystack may come later).
No subscriptions yet (one-off payments only for now).
